Our office provides the necessary services and legal advice and answers all your legal inquiries regarding the purchase of real estate in Turkey.

Why do you have to hire a lawyer?

You may need legal advice from a lawyer when you start buying a property in your country, as the same applies to your purchase of real estate in Turkey as a foreign country with different laws.

First, the lawyer will check your property purchase contract, which is generally written in Turkish.

Through the power of attorney that you give the lawyer, he will be able to check your papers and sign them on your behalf in your absence.

You just have to make sure that all the powers that you want to grant to the attorney you appoint are written in the agency paper that will be certified by the notary in justice (banks, real estate registry, etc. ..).

The lawyer must ensure that the property seller has reviewed the relevant departments to obtain the military approval that is required from foreigners when buying real estate in Turkey.

Upon payment, the attorney will be the trusted third party safeguarding the rights of both parties.

Hiring a Turkish lawyer will save you time and extra expenses and keep you on the safe side.

The lawyer will take all necessary legal procedures that accompany the delivery of the property.

The lawyer that you assign will meet with the responsible legal authorities regarding legal amendments and solve all problems related to your property, if any, and he will also provide all legal advice related to your property.

You can grant the power of attorney in one of the notary offices in Turkey, and it takes about two hours, while outside Turkey, you can grant the power of attorney in the Turkish embassies or consulates in your countries.

Granting a power of attorney relieves you of the burden of frequent travel and staying for a week or a month in Turkey for the purpose of finalizing the transactions related to the buying and selling process.

Granting a power of attorney to a lawyer does not grant the lawyer the right to sell and buy the property on his personal name, but rather gives him the authority to carry out legal procedures on your behalf, and you will notice the presence of your name and personal picture on the tabu (real estate registry).

The lawyer will translate the will that you write in your country and certify it from the notary in Turkey, thus becoming a valid document in Turkey that protects you from exposure to legal problems in relation to inheritance and its limitation.

In addition to the aforementioned services related to buying a property in Turkey, we offer other services for foreign investors wishing to invest in Turkey:

General human rights advice

Submit a report on the legal status of the property (obtaining an explanation of the legal status of your property in the Land Registry Department)
